What is going on around the city for all these upcoming holidays/events?
Saturday at the Forks, CTV is having their big Olympics bash with concerts and lots of family fun, for more info go to www.CTVOlympics.ca/Celebration
Also looks like Sunday at the forks, from noon-4 they are having horse drawn carriage rides, around the Forks site.
Any good family events happening? What is everyone doing for the Olympics?
Also, a big happy anniversary to our Canadian Flag on the 15th, only 45 years old...good thing that was not a trivia question, I would have been off by several decades!! For a printable poster for flag day, go to http://www.pch.gc.ca/special/jdn-nfd/prfssr/cmd-ordr-eng.cfm

Thanks!! I knew I was missing a big one!! I haven't taken my daughter yet, maybe this will be the year. I just have such good memories of it as a kid, and going every day the whole time. Wasn't too impressed when I read the catalogue for this year. I miss the tele-relais, the pancake breakfast etc!
