With this nice weather, it's a good time to bring out those coupon books!!
The show & save and Entertainment books have bogofs for marble slab, banana boat, bdi and so on!! Great way to cut the costs going for ice cream!!
We went to Banana Boat today, and for the 3 of us was around 6$!! And their ice cream is awesome!! My husband had a banana strawberry milkshake, nice to see them put a real banana in it. Kind of sad actually that it's now a surprising thing!

We used to like Omands Creek but they are not open now. So we go to one just past the entrance to Kildonan Park. They have ice cream for doggies too.

which one are you refering to? That's in our end of town, there's The Spotted Cow, Scoops, and now our Tim Hortons just opened up with Coldstone Creamery! Way too much selection is way too temping for us! And within walking distance!

Banana Boat (and the coupons) is always a nice treat. Would love to head to BDI, but with two small kids, even ice cream isn't enough of an incentive to wait in line.
We used to head out to Headingley to the little corner store. Huge scoops and great prices! -

BDI is our all-time favorite, but closer to home we love going to The Spotted Cow.
This weekend we went to The Country Porch, north McPhillips near the perimeter, since it was raining we wanted to be able to sit indoors. I had an applie pie sundae - spiced apple topping and hot caramel, which was pretty good and something different! -
