Went to Zellers tonight - the write up in the flyer was pretty vague. I was surprised to see that pillows were buy one get one free (over 8$ or something like that) - there were some really neat ones, my daughter picked a cute kids body pillow and I chose a firm one for back sleepers. My favourite sheets, jersey cotton were on sale for about 25$ a set. There were tons of deals on bedding, nothing really for kids though but the pillow deals were amazing.
Good time to stock up if you need new bedding or pillows for sure. There was tons of clearance in kids clothes and shoes too - for some reason there were no girls size 12, but lots in every other size!

A good coupon since these are often cleared out depending on seasons, but i find it a bit weird it says not all stores will accept home printed coupons. Might make it harder to use at a few stores. I haven't had any problems with printed coupons so far (fingers crossed) - if anyone sees these on sale post it up.

Safeway has bullseye bbq sauce bogof, lucerne frozen treats are 30% off, good time to use the 5$ off coupons! Personal care event - 40% off certain items, and airmiles on top of that.

BulkBarn has 2 3$ off coupons on their flyer on purchases of 10$.

Canadian Tire has palmolive dish soap for 88 cents as their doorcrasher on saturday for 88 cents! Even better if you have coupons for it. Lots of camping and outdoor supplies on sale.

Chex now has some great gluten free cereal in Canada!! Perfect for anyone with an intolerance to gluten. I like that they've made it so easy, it's in big writing on the box. I'm not too familiar with gluten free products, I think this makes it easy for moms having a playdate or sleepover since Chex can be a great snack or of course for breakfast! I like seeing companies making it so mainstream and accessible too. And perfect for anyone with an intolerance to it to quickly be able to pick up a cereal so quickly!
We tried the honey nut (my daughter's fave) and the rice one (my husbands fave) and both were really tasty. I'm not an expert on gluten, or even that familiar with it so I won't give too much info - if you think you're intolerant to it check with your dr. for sure! I have seen people on tv talk about what a difference cutting it out has made in their lives! For those with an intolerance to it or celiac disease, inform me please - I always want to know more!
I really like that I can now have some great snack and meal ideas for any guests who are allergic, and for when my daughter goes to school just in case. And the recipes look super yummy too!
